Watch classical guitarist and composer, Tye Austin, perform Jorge Morel’s famous samba for solo guitar, Danza Brasiliera. Originating in Rio de Janeiro, the samba dance form employs West African polyrhythms and Native Brazilian music from the state of Bahia. This video was filmed in the Grand Hall at the Oregon Center for the Arts at Southern Oregon University, Tye’s alma mater.
