New Composition: Tango Fumar

I recently recorded my latest composition, Tango Fumar for guitar and string orchestra. The guitar part was originally composed as a solo work on April, 20, 2017 in celebration of the holiday (hence the title), and the orchestral parts were composed in October, 2017. I booked several string players from the New York Virtuosi to record the orchestral reduction (one instrument per part) of the full score for guitar, two violins, viola, cello, and double bass. We also recorded my chamber music arrangements of Anonymous’ Spanish Romance, Carlos Gardel’s Tango Por Una Cabeza, and Claude Debussy’s Girl with the Flaxen Hair. You can listen to the playlist below:

I also recorded a few classical guitar pieces I arranged for Latin jazz trio. These include Valse Venezolano No. 2 by Antonio Lauro, Sons de Carrilhoes by Joao Pernambuco, and Tico Tico no Fuba by Zequinha de Abreu. You can listen to the playlist below:

Contact info@tyeaustin.com if you’d like to book me for a solo guitar and/or chamber music concert, wedding, corporate party, or luxury event. Chamber music groups include guitar and any combination of violin, viola, cello, double bass.
