I’m currently touring through 9 cities on the west coast between Seattle, WA and Los Angeles, CA. I’m performing 18 concerts over the next 30 days. This is my first multi-state tour in my career. It has been booked, promoted, and funded by myself. I just finished performing five concerts in Portland, OR. I performed at a famous jazz club called The 1905, Tendue Performing Arts Center, and a few private house concerts. I have a concert at the Breitenbush Hot Springs in Detroit, OR tonight, March 4 at 7pm. The following day I head to Eugene, OR to perform at the The Jazz Station on E. Broadway at 7:30pm. After that, I head to Seattle, WA for a couple concerts before traveling south for concerts in Roseburg, OR, Ashland, OR, San Francisco, CA, and Los Angeles, CA. One of my concerts in LA will be at the private residence of Greg Castlenuovo-Tedesco, who is the grandson of Mario Castlenuovo-Tedesco. Tedesco was a contemporary of the famous Spanish classical guitarist, Andres Segovia. Segovia commissioned 15 guitar works from Tedesco, who was then inspired to write more than 100 works for the instrument. His contribution to the guitar repertoire is unparalleled by any other composer from the 20th century. I will performing his Tonadilla on the name of Andres Segovia during this intimate concert. Segovia is my grand-teacher, considering I studied with his last direct pupils, Eliot Fisk at the New England Conservatory and Sharon Isbin at The Juilliard School.
